Three men nabbed in prostitution sting

ELMHURST Police in the 110th Precinct busted three johns April 10 during a “Losing Proposition” anti-prostitution sting operation, authorities said.

Between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., officers staking out the corner of 76th Street and Roosevelt Avenue arrested a 27-year-old, 33-year-old and 37-year-old for patronizing prostitutes, police said.

The Roosevelt Avenue corridor is notorious for prostitution. State Assemblyman Jose Peralta (D-Jackson Heights) recently held a press conference decrying prostitution rings handing out pornographic business cards for escort services in the area.
