Woman from Laurelton arrested for fraud: Cops

NASSAU COUNTY A Laurelton resident who worked as a cashier in North Woodmere, L.I., was arrested Monday after she allegedly used fraudulent credit cards to steal upwards of $2,700 in merchandise and gift cards, Nassau County police said.

Police said Jennifer Manley, 20, of 131-39 230th St. allegedly stole the goods last week from the TJ Maxx on the Rockaway Turnpike. Manley was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, two counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument, first-degree identity theft and first-degree fraud, according to authorities.
