Mullan makes key saves, St. Andrews falls to St. Luke’s

The St. Andrew's Girls Rookie soccer team fell to St. Luke's, 1-0, Sunday at the Throgs Neck field. It was a fast paced, evenly played game with St. Luke's scoring with seven minutes left in the game.

St. Andrew's attack was led by forwards Jessica Rodriguez and Kristin Poptean. Mary Kate McGee and Katherine McKay were strong in midfield and the defenders, Anais Rodrigeuz and Krystyna MacWithey, played outstandingly. St. Andrew's goalkeeper Juliet Mullan made several key saves throughout the course of the game.
