Police seek burglar who stole jewels

BAYSIDE Police were looking for a suspect who they say broke into a house Saturday and stole countless valuables from the homeowners.

The perpetrator pried open the side door of a house located on 207th Street and ransacked the bedrooms, according to police. The burglar opened a small home safe and removed several pieces of jewelry.

Among the stolen items were Omega, Rolex and Cartier watches, police said.
