Flushing woman killed in Brooklyn: Police

BROOKLYN — A Flushing woman was murdered Friday inside the dry cleaning business she owned in Brooklyn, police said.

Kyung-Sook Woo, 52, of 25-34 Union St., was found dead around 8:30 p.m. Friday inside the dry cleaners at 1623 10th Ave. in Brooklyn, police said.

A Brooklyn man, 22-year-old Jamal Winter, was charged in Woo's murder, police said.

Winter allegedly strangled Woo and used her car to flee the scene, according to authorities.
