NYPD captain exposed self in station: Report

KEW GARDENS—A straphanger saw a whole different side of a NYPD transit captain Tuesday, police said Tuesday.

Capt. Jeffrey Klimas, 51, was arrested and charged with public lewdness after he allegedly exposed himself to a man in the men's room of the Union Turnpike subway station, police said. The man, whose name was not released, quickly alerted a police officer who chased Kilmas and arrested the plainclothes captain, according to the New York Post.

Kilmas, who the Post said is a married father of two, was suspended for his actions, according to police.
