111th Pct. investigates Oakland Gdns. burglary

OAKLAND GARDENS — A homeowner on the 53rd Avenue block of 206th Street was the victim of a daytime burglary, police said.

Sometime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, someone broke into the residence through a rear window, ransacked several rooms and made off with cash and jewelry, police said.

Witnesses told police they saw two men in their 20s walking through the backyard wearing backpacks, the 111th Precinct said.
