Two attempted Astoria entry, arrested: Cops

ASTORIA — Police said they arrested two men after they attempted to enter an Astoria building by cutting a hole in the rooftop June 10.

The two defendants, ages 33 and 46, tried cutting through the roof on a building at 31st Street and Hoyt Avenue South in Astoria, police said. They were charged with criminal mischief, burglary and possession of burglar tools, police said.
