Police arrest two teens in Douglaston robbery

DOUGLASTON — Police said they arrested two teenagers who allegedly robbed a man in Douglaston last Thursday by threatening him.

Cops said they busted two teens, ages 14 and 17, after they allegedly approached a man near 204th Street and 33rd Avenue in Douglaston and demanded money. The victim opened his phone after the robbery, causing one of the defendants to ask, “What are you calling the cops on us?” police said.

The two defendants allegedly fled on foot with cash, but were later arrested, police said.
