Cops arrest man for making threats, wielding BB gun

ASTORIA — Police said a man was arrested on criminal mischief and menacing charges last week after allegedly slapping someone in the face, threatening him or her with a BB gun and punched holes in the walls and doors of the victim's apartment.

The 33-year-old man was arrested last Thursday after allegedly getting into a dispute with the victim in their apartment. When the dispute escalated, the man allegedly began punching holes in the doors and walls of the apartment and slapped the victim in the face while brandishing a BB gun.

The man was arrested at the 45th Street apartment and charged with criminal mischief, menacing, harrassment and criminal possession of a weapon.
