Cops seek J train flasher

WOODHAVEN — Police were searching for a man who flashed and tried to kidnap a teenage girl on the J train in Queens Monday.

The 14-year-old girl noticed the man exposing himself to her near Woodhaven Boulevard and Jamaica Avenue on the J train around 8:30 a.m., according to the 1010WINS Web site.

The man followed the girl when she got off the train at the Elderts Lane stop, then pulled a box cutter on her and tried to abduct her, WINS reported.

Police were trying to determine whether the man could be involved in similar assaults in Jamaica, 1010WINS reported.
