Police search for Flushing, Jackson Heights bank robber

JACKSON HEIGHTS — Police were searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery pattern in Flushing and Jackson Heights.

The suspect, described as a man between 35 and 40 years old, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds to 220 pounds, robbed a bank at 39-01 Main St. in Flushing June 27 and another bank at 37-15 82nd St. in Jackson Heights July 16, police said.

In both cases, the suspect entered the bank, passed a note to the teller, received an unknown amount of cash and fled on foot, police said.
