Urban Park Rangers offer a day of canoeing

Join the Urban Park Rangers for a day of canoeing in Van Cortlandt Park on Sat., Sept. 20, 11 am at the Va Cortlandt Park Nature Center, W. 246th Street and Broadway. Learn the basics or practice what you know. Enjoy views of wading birds and basking terrapins. For ages 8 years and older. Arrive early: first-come, first served. Bring water, sunscreen and a snack. Free.
