Construction worker stole cell phone: NY Post

OZONE PARK — A construction worker was arrested after allegedly swiping a teenager's cell phone on Lefferts Boulevard Sept. 17, the New York Post reported.

Police said Kapiledo Etwaroo, 20, allegedly stopped the 15-year-old victim and his younger brother near the corner of 109th Avenue and asked to use his phone, the Post reported.

When the teen obliged, Etwaroo allegedly walked away with the phone in hand after telling the victim that he would have to fight him to get it back, the Post reported.

The teen called police and Etwaroo was arrested by police on petit larceny and harassment charges a short time later, police said.
