Thieves break into Bayside home

BAYSIDE — A home was burglarized by unknown suspects Sunday, police said.

The incident took place between 6:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. around 245th Street and Thornhill Avenue, according to police.

The suspects forced the rear door of the house, ransacked rooms and stole a laptop, jewelry, a PlayStion Portable gaming system and cash, police said.

The owner of the home told officers that he saw a gray BMW pull away without lights when he arrived home, according to police.
