Staten Island man robbed Far Rock home: Cops

FAR ROCKAWAY — Police were searching Tuesday for a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Far Rockaway last month.

On Sept. 7 at 6:40 p.m., Jamal Hunter, 30, allegedly knocked on the door of a residence on Beach 56th Street, brandished a shotgun and took the victim's cash and electronics, police said. No one was injured in the robbery.

Hunter's last known address was in Staten Island. Police are asking anyone with information regarding Hunter's whereabouts to call 1-800-577-8477 or to text tips to 274637, then enter "TIP577."
