Thieves target Honda wheels in Fresh Mdws.

FLUSHING — Car thieves are on a roll in the 111th Precinct, where four 2008 Honda Accords have been stuck on blocks and stripped of their wheels in the last 10 days.

The first incident occurred Sept. 30 on 59th Avenue in Oakland Gardens, police said. Thieves took the wheels from the car parked in a driveway some time between 6 p.m. and 9:45 a.m. the next day, police said.

Next was an Accord parked on Booth Memorial Avenue near 174th Street in Flushing, police said. Thieves removed the wheels between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 30 and 10:40 a.m. the next morning, police said.

The thieves next turned to an Accord parked in a driveway on 185th Street in Fresh Meadows, police said, striking sometime between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 30 and 7:30 a.m. the next morning.

The thieves struck again on 221st Street in Oakland Gardens Sunday night between 9 p.m. and 3:30 a.m., police said. The car was left on milk crates, police said.
