Police end search for public lewdness suspect

REGO PARK — A Rego Park man was arrested on public lewdness charges Friday after authorities claimed he fondled himself late last month on a Queens−bound V train, police said.

Peter Tamayev, 23, of 66−08 102nd St., allegedly fondled his private area in view of a woman who was riding the V train at around 6 p.m. Oct. 28 between Grand Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard, police said.

The woman, not publicly identified, took a photo of the suspect on her cell phone, police said.
