FRESH MEADOWS — Police were looking for at least one suspect who stole a driver’s purse while she was pumping gas Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the Mobile station at 181st Street and the Horace Harding Expressway around 4 p.m., according to authorities. The perpetrator took the victim’s bag, which had several credit cards, while she was outside of her car gassing up, police said.
Although officers said the station is equipped with surveillance cameras, no description of the suspect was given by police.
