The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m., when officers responded to a call that a man was shot in a two-family house located near 147th Drive and Weller Lane, police said. When officers arrived, they found a 42-year-old man dead from two gunshot wounds to the head and torso, according to police.
The victim's identity was not released by authorities.
No arrests had been made and the investigation was ongoing as of Monday. Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
