Woodside man robbed pizza joint twice: DA

CORONA — A Woodside man was arrested last Thursday after allegedly stealing cash from a pizzeria on two separate occasions, the Queens district attorney said.

Jay Timothy, 26, of 40−00 67th St., was arraigned on a petit larceny charge on Feb. 24 after allegedly stealing more than $300 from Angelo’s Pizza, at 39−03 103rd St., the criminal complaint said.

On Feb. 20, around 10:36 a.m. Timothy allegedly took a “tips” jar from the store’s counter and fled the scene, according to the criminal complaint. The jar had $200 in cash, the criminal complaint said.

Timothy came back to Angelo’s on Feb. 23, around 3 p.m. and allegedly reached his hand into a business−related cash deposit jar and pulled out $127 in cash before fleeing, according to the criminal complaint.
