Flushing man arrested in assault case: DA

FLUSHING — A 47−year−old man was arrested last week after allegedly injuring a man during a violent altercation, the Queens district attorney said.

Paul C. Yim, of 140−55 Flushing Ave., was charged last Thursday with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment charges, according to the DA.

Around 1 a.m. last Thursday, Yim allegedly punched a 60−year−old man, in the face with a set of keys, according to the criminal complaint.

The two men were inside Yim’s residence, the complaint said. The victim was taken to an unidentified hospital for treatment for lacerations to his face and head, the criminal complaint said. A police officer observed and recovered a set of bloody keys from a table in Yim’s house, according to the complaint.
