FLUSHING — A woman was accused of assault after punching her husband and wielding a knife, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

On Saturday, around 2:40 p.m., Yuerong Zhao, 41, punched her 40−year−old husband in the face several times, according to a criminal complaint filed by the DA’s office. She then picked up a kitchen knife, alarming the man, who sustained a bloody nose from the punches, the DA’s office said.

Zhao was charged with assault, menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal weapon possession and harassment, the DA’s office said. She was arraigned Sunday and released on her own recognizance.
