Man charged with disorderly conduct

JAMAICA — Police arrested a man last week who they say frightened officers and pedestrians.

Navandra Lall, 21, of Howard Beach, was observed inside 173−31 Jamaica Ave. by officers behaving in a threatening manner by yelling around 11:30 p.m. on April 7, police said.

He allegedly approached the officers violently and caused people to leave the area, according to the criminal complaint. While being handcuffed by the authorities, police said he pushed an officer.

Lall was charged the next morning in Queens Criminal Court with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct charges, according to the complaint.
