Cops name suspect in murder at party

JAMAICA — Police have identified a suspect wanted for a murder that took place during a late−night party last month.

Investigators say 31−year−old Cassius Daley, aka Cassius Thelwell, of Queens, shot Anthony Potter at his home on Montauk Street in the early morning hours of April 11. Potter, 45, was wounded in the torso during a house party at the residence and died at Jamaica Hospital an hour later, police said.

Potter’s house was located near several garages and shops that were closed during the time of the homicide.
