Flushing man arrested in vase assault case

FLUSHING — A Flushing man was arrested last week after allegedly bashing another man on the head with a glass vase, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

At 9:40 p.m. May 5, Guiqun Su, 54, attacked the other man inside 132−48 41st Road, the DA said. The victim suffered cuts to his ear, shoulder and the back of his head, the DA’s office said.

Su was arrested and charged with assault, weapon possession and harassment, the DA said. He was arraigned May 6 and released on his own recognizance, the DA’s office said. His last court date was Tuesday.
