Drunk driving leads to woman’s arrest: Brown

SOUTH JAMAICA — A Queens Village woman was arrested on drunk driving charges last week after she allegedly swerved and struck a parked vehicle with her car while arguing with her husband, authorities said.

The Queens district attorney said Margaret Randall of 87−27 214th St. was arraigned on two counts of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol May 26.

The DA said police allegedly discovered Randall standing next to her car at 166−05 115th Ave., where it appeared she had struck another vehicle. Randall was placed under arrest after registering a .159 on a Intoxilyzer breath test and allegedly telling officers, “I was arguing with my husband when I swerved and struck the parked car. I had a few beers and vodka.”
