Man exposed private body part to girl, 8: Cops

ELMHURST — Police were looking for a suspected pervert who not only exposed himself to an 8−year−old girl, but also took advantage of the youngster inside an apartment building last month.

Investigators released information and surveillance photos Monday of the suspect, who they claim grabbed the girl May 20 while she was playing in the hallway of the building located near 37th Avenue and 88th Street.

The man, described as a white or light−skinned Hispanic between 20 to 25 years old, allegedly took the girl to a stairwell, photographed her feet and private areas and exposed himself before fleeing the scene, according to police.

The suspect was seen wearing a black jacket and shorts and white sneakers, police said. Surveillance photos also depict the man wearing a white T−shirt.

Investigators say the man got away from the scene on a yellow bicycle.
