Man attacked, robbed by ex-girlfriend: Cops

BAYSIDE — A man was assaulted and three people were arrested in an apparent robbery July 8, police in the 111th Precinct said.

The victim was walking on a pedestrian bridge across the Clearview Expressway at 33rd Avenue when he was grabbed from behind by three people, punched, choked and knocked to the ground, police said. The assailants stole the victim’s cell phone and cash, police said.

The victim told police that one of his attackers was his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend, who said, “You’re going to cheat on mei” and then hit him with a brick, police said. The girl was arrested July 13, the Queens district attorney’s office said. It had no record of the other two suspects.
