Alley Pond golf course becomes scene of fight

DOUGLASTON — A man and woman were arrested Friday after they got into a heated argument during a golf game, police said.

Simon Tran, 44, and Jung Hong, 58, allegedly used golf clubs to strike each other during a fight, which took place at the golf course at Alley Pond Park at around 9:10 a.m., according to police. Both were not seriously injured, but charged with felony assault, police said.
