Conn. man sentenced in Rosedale man’s death

KEW GARDENS — A 28-year-old Connecticut man was sentenced to 75 years to life in prison for the 2008 murder of a Rosedale man and the attempted murder and kidnapping of two other men, the Queens district attorney said.

Richard Bailey, of 14 Fox St., in New Haven, Conn., was sentenced in Queens Supreme Court July 22 for the murder of 23-year-old Kirkland Green in January 2008 as well as the attempted murder and kidnapping of two other men in Rosedale.

He was convicted last month of second-degree murder, second-degree attempted murder, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, first-degree attempted robbery and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
