Flushing teen damages TV, laptop with dresser: DA

FLUSHING — A Flushing teenager was arrested after he allegedly pushed over a dresser, causing damage to a woman’s television and laptop, the Queens district attorney said.

Christopher Garcia, who lives on Parsons Boulevard in Flushing, was arraigned July 28 in Queens Criminal Court on a criminal mischief charge and released on his own recognizance, Queens DA Richard Brown said. The defendant will return to court Oct. 5, Brown said.

On July 27, the defendant allegedly pushed over the dresser in his own home, which damaged a TV and laptop when they fell to the ground, the DA said.
