Far Rock man dies from gunshot to head: Police

FAR ROCKAWAY — Police said a 32-year-old man was killed Monday after being shot once in the head inside an apartment building.

Police said they responded to calls of a shooting shortly after 1 p.m. Monday at 57-15 Shore Front Pkwy. and found the victim, who was not identified, unconscious with a single gunshot wound to the head.

Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests had been made as of Tuesday and the investigation was ongoing.
