CORONA — Police arrested a 43-year-old woman on assault charges for allegedly throwing a DVD player at a man’s head, the Queens district attorney said.
According to the DA, a man needed stitches after Felicia Manu of 97-30 57th Ave. allegedly threw a DVD player at him, striking him in the head and causing a laceration.
When police confronted Manu, the DA said she allegedly said, “Yeah, I threw the thing at his head. He threw it at me first.”
Manu was charged with assault in Queens Criminal Court Aug. 18.
