ASTORIA — An East Elmhurst man faces criminal mischief charges after bashing in the windshield of a parked car, the Queens district attorney’s office said.
Around 4:30 p.m. Sept. 1, John Delvalle, 41, was standing in front of 35-11 Steinway St. when an employee of the car dealership there allegedly saw him pick up a piece of asphalt and smash the windshield of one of the cars in the lot, according to a criminal complaint filed by the DA’s office.
Delvalle was arraigned Sept. 2 and released on $1,500 bail. His next court date was Sept. 4.
