Jamaica man accused of blocking Baisley traffic

JAMAICA — A 26-year-old Jamaica man was arrested after he allegedly got out of his vehicle, blocking traffic, and yelled at another driver, the Queens district attorney said.

Andre Holloway, of 104-24 186th St. in Jamaica, was arraigned Sept. 9 in Queens Criminal Court on aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and disorderly conduct, Queens DA Richard Brown said. He will return to court Oct. 26, the DA said.

On Sept. 8, Holloway allegedly blocked traffic with his vehicle at the corner of Baisley Boulevard and 157th Street in Jamaica as he yelled at another motorist, causing a crowd to gather, the DA said.

Records from the state Department of Motor Vehicles allegedly show that the defendant’s license has been suspended four times, Brown said. At the time of the incident, Holloway’s license had been suspended, he said.
