Cops search for murderer in Jackson Heights

Police in the 115th Precinct were searching for the suspect in the murder of a Jackson Heights man in his apartment last week.

Police responded to an apartment on 73rd Street near 34th Avenue around 4 a.m. Friday morning after receiving reports of an unconscious man. Inside they found a 36-year-old man lying dead under his mattress with a neck wound. Police had not released the man’s identity by press time Tuesday.

No arrests had been made and police said the investigation was ongoing.
