Community Board 7 voted at its Monday night meeting to approve a plan for a proposed two-story, two-family home to be built at the intersection of Clintonville Street and 18th Avenue in Whitestone.
The proposed construction project must go before the board because it requires several variances, including one to allow for the residences to be built even though they are each more than 100 square feet smaller than the minimum required size and others involving the size of the property on which it sits, which is not large enough to comply with zoning regulations.
The project application will now head to the Board of Standards and Appeals before it can be built.
