Man touched young girl in Flushing Library: Cops

FLUSHING — Police were looking for a man who they said inappropriately touched a girl inside the Flushing Library nearly two weeks ago.

The incident took place inside the branch on Main Street Nov. 28 around 2 p.m., according to police. After the man forcibly touched the girl, he fled in an unknown direction, police said.

The suspect was described as a white man between 30 and 35 years old and roughly 5-foot-7 with a medium build, police said.

He was seen wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and a dark cap.
