Burglars steal jewelry, $5K from Bayside home

BAYSIDE — Police said a home was burglarized Saturday night.

The incident took place at a home on Overbrook Street between 10:30 p.m. and midnight, according to investigators.

The suspects entered the home by forcing open a rear window, went through drawers and took jewelry and $5,000 in cash from a bag in the home’s attic, according to police.
