2 men burglarized 3 Queens homes: Brown

FLUSHING — A 29−year−old Brooklyn man was arrested after he and another man allegedly stole a refrigerator and a stove from a Flushing construction site, a microwave from a Jamaica home and a refrigerator and gas stove from a Ridgewood house, the Queens district attorney said.

Charles Pleasant, who lives in Brooklyn, was arraigned Saturday before Queens Criminal Court Judge Barry Kron on charges of burglary, criminal mischief and petit larceny in three separate incidents, Queens DA Richard Brown said. The defendant, who was held on $35,000 bail, will return to court Feb. 20, Brown said.

The defendant allegedly told police, “I’m going to keep it real. I messed with the crib on Menahan.”

Two of the three incidents took place in 2006, while the third occurred in March 2008, Brown said.
