Cops find marijuana on Flushing man: DA

FLUSHING — A Flushing man allegedly attacked an employee at a Flushing establishment after refusing to pay for food March 23, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.

Juan Linares, 28, was charged with assault, theft, possession of marijuana and harassment after he allegedly would not pay for his meal at a business located at the intersection of 104 Street and Roosevelt Avenue, the DA said.

After he would not pay, Linares allegedly punched the complainant in the face, causing bruising, swelling and a bloody nose, according to Brown.

Police said they found one marijuana cigarette on Linares.
