BAYSIDE — A man was arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer early Saturday morning, police said.
The incident took place at 12:30 a.m. at the corner of Northern Boulevard and 193rd Street, according to investigators.
The suspect kicked and struck an officer in the left eye during the scuffle, police said.
