Thieves steal parts off of BMW in Bayside: Cops

BAYSIDE — Police were looking for the people involved in the theft of car parts Sunday morning.

The thieves took the wheels off a 2010 BMW 325i car parked in front of a house at 221st Street and the Horace Harding Expressway between midnight and 5:30 a.m., police said.

Bricks were put under the car where the wheels were once placed, according to investigators.
