Does it ever occur to state Assemblyman Mike Miller (D-Glendale) and his colleagues who protest the Metropolitan Transportation Authority cuts that if they did not pay the transit workers fantastic salaries and health and retirement benefits, the people who use the subways would not have the financial problems they have now.
Unfortunately, union demands that are granted come out of the pocketbooks of the people who use our transit system.
