Woman left kids, both 4, unsupervised: Brown

FLUSHING — A Flushing woman was arraigned Dec. 17 on two counts of second-degree reckless endangerment and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, the Queens District Attorney said.

Pastora Munevar, 62, allegedly left 4-year-old children Kenny and Mischa Gallegos alone in front of Little Tots Daycare on 57th Avenue in Flushing, which was closed at the time, eyewitness Cheryl Campbell told police, the DA said.

Munevar allegedly admitted to Campbell that she dropped the children in front of the school for about a minute, leaving them without adult supervision, the DA said.

Pastora was released on her own recognizance and will appear in court Feb. 4.
