Burglars swipe jewelry from Douglaston home

FRESH MEADOWS — Police reported that a home at an undisclosed location near 186th Street and 56th Avenue was burglarized by unknown suspects at about 9:20 p.m. May 27.

The burglars entered the home by removing the window bars from a rear window, then stole assorted gold jewelry.

No arrests have been made.
