Pupil robbed of devices while unconscious

BAYSIDE — A student was knocked unconscious before being robbed Friday after walking home from school in Bayside, police said.

The student was walking home when he was hit from behind and knocked unconscious between 2:40 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Friday near Corporal Kennedy Street and 34th Avenue in Bayside, police said.

While unconscious, the student was robbed of his iPod and BlackBerry, police said.
