Argument in Woodside turns violent: Brown

WOODSIDE — A Corona man was arrested last week for allegedly assaulting a couple during an early morning argument that took place last month, the Queens district attorney said.

Patruicio Tuquinagui, 31, of 43rd Avenue was arraigned on assault and harassment charges June 13 for hurting a husband and wife outside a home on 78th Street and 37th Avenue May 16, the DA said.

Tuquinagui and an unapprehended female appeared outside the door and he took the female victim by the hair and threw here to the ground, the criminal complaint said. While the defendant allegedly kicked the victim on the ground, his accomplice pulled the victim by her hair, according to the complaint.

When a male acquaintance of the victim arrived, Tuquinagui pushed him to the ground and beat him up, too, the complaint said.

The defendant allegedly told investigators he got into a fight with the victims and that he was defending his wife, according to the complaint.
