Driver intentionally hit victim with vehicle: Cops

BAYSIDE — A motorist used his SUV to reportedly strike a pedestrian last Thursday night, police said.

The driver of the 2000 Jeep vehicle allegedly drove on the sidewalk near 42nd Avenue and 196th Street around 9:50 p.m. and struck the victim, who suffered pain to his hip and leg, according to police.
